Our highly prized guides are both useful and durable - we regularly hear of copies which have been in use for 20 years and more.The current record is actually no less than 54 years of continuous use.
There are all too few corporate gifts that can boast a life measurable in decades!
Being shirt-pocket sized at 3¼” x 5” (80 mm x 140mm) our guides are easily carried in all weathers in pocket, briefcase or handbag.
They make enduring and greatly appreciated gifts for valued clients, customers and contacts.
We have been producing branded versions of our Maps and Guides since the early 1950’s and are adept at interpreting and applying the stringent branding requirements which many of our corporate customers see as imperative to the development globally of their image and business.
We offer four stock cover bindings as indicated on our Commercial Quantities Price List and all of these are available in a wide range of colours. In addition, we can supply most other commercially available bindings in suitable colours. A small handling charge is payable for any non-stock binding we have to buy in. Sample clipping of bindings can be provided but, with an average life expectancy measured in decades, the classic dark blues and reds, green and black offer a timeless impression of style.
Foil-blocking the covers of our guides uses venerable technology which does not always permit faithful representation of the more detailed and ornate logos. Crests and coats of arms together with picture logos cause especial difficulty. We are able to advise how to best reproduce these logos in the light of the limitations of single or even multicolour foil-blocking and will be happy to discuss the suitability of a particular logo for blocking, in advance of an order being placed. Whilst blocking in gold or silver is the norm a wide range of coloured foils are available and samples can be supplied on request.
We can include Supplementary Pages giving information about a customer’s business whether just contact details or perhaps with a location map and even a mission statement. Supplementary Pages are printed to the highest standards and, if required, in a customer’s specified Pantone colour(s). Multi-coloured logos may necessitate the making of special printing plates to ensure correct registration of the various component parts of the logo. If this is likely to be necessary we advise customers accordingly and of the additional cost.
